Tashkent hosted the «Yashil Uyim» scientific and ecological festival — with «Kapitalbank» acting as the main partner. The central venue of the event was «Eco-Coworking Kapitalbank» in the «Alpine Land» park (formerly «Lokomotiv»).

The festival — organized by eco-activist «Urikguli» with the support of «Kapitalbank Academy» — brought city residents together around the ideas of sustainable development, environmental culture, and a conscious lifestyle.

Thanks to the infrastructure of «Eco-Coworking Kapitalbank» — the venue transformed into dozens of interactive locations, lecture halls, and family creative spaces available to guests throughout the day.

In the «MAIN JOY» sector — open discussions on urbanism, sessions on science blogging, prize raffles, and a workshop on creating postcards from recycled paper took place. In the «KID’S JOY» children's area — young guests along with their parents participated in scientific experiments and masterclasses on glass and textile upcycling.

The organizers paid special attention to the practical implementation of eco-friendly habits. In the «KUN BO‘YI JOY» zone — a waste collection point operated where guests could hand in plastic, batteries, paper, aluminum, and used oils for recycling. A market of local eco-goods, the «Second Chance» shop, and the «SWAP» book exchange zone were also presented here.

«Supporting the «Yashil Uyim» festival on the territory of our «Eco-Zone» — is a continuation of «Kapitalbank’s» environmental and social initiatives. We strive not only to create comfortable green spaces but also to fill them with educational content. Such projects help form simple ecological habits among city residents and unite generations around caring for the environment», — noted Oksana Lyndina, Advisor to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSCB «Kapitalbank».

The «Bring your cup» principle was active during the festival — guests used reusable cups and thermos flasks. «Kapitalbank Academy» organized the operation of «Suv Corner» — where visitors received free drinking water, tea, and coffee.
For «Kapitalbank» — participation in the «Yashil Uyim» festival is part of a long-term strategy to support projects aimed at developing the urban environment. The bank will continue to develop social and environmental initiatives — creating new points of attraction and supporting conscious lifestyle practices.
